Time Limits for Making a Claim:
- General Rule - Six Years: Usually, under English law, you need to file a negligence claim within six years from the date you suffered the loss. In most cases, the law considers this to be the date you purchased the Series 1 Bonds.
- Extension - Three Years from Knowledge: There’s an exception! If you only found out about the material facts underlying this claim within the last three years, you might still be eligible to join, even if your purchase was over six years ago.
What Does This Mean for You?
- Even though you may have bought Series 1 Bonds more than six years ago, we consider that you may still be able to join the claim.

Payment Terms for Legal Services
Payment on Success:

We only get paid if we win compensation for you as a Series 1 Bondholder.

Fees from Compensation:

If successful, our fees and expenses (like court fees, expert costs) will be deducted from the compensation recovered. This includes:
- Time spent by our legal team
- A success fee (up to 50% of our time charges)
- Other necessary expenses
Limit on Fees:

We will in no circumstances, seek to recover legal costs that exceed 50% of your claim value; however, this is the worst-case scenario and is it our expectation that your net recovery will be approximately 60-70% of your initial investment after all costs are deducted and no exposure to adverse cost risk.
